The Summer House opened its doors in 2015. The building was originally a garden centre which is partly the inspiration for the Summer House's name. The building was then a pedal bike shop and from then was lovingly redesigned by the Summer House's owner, Kate Cavan, into the luxurious and bespoke restaurant it is today.

The addition of a conservatory, a log cabin shack and a tree house have all added to the Summer House's quirky feel and gives the restaurant ample seating, allowing our customers to choose which area to dine in. In 2019 The Summer House expanded again and we acquired our new Eden area located at the back of the restaurant.
